Plain-language policies for this marketing site. This is not personalized legal advice. If you need counsel for your situation, talk to a lawyer who represents you.
Business entity
TWIZT.SHOP is part ofLAB ELECTRONICS LLC
(“Lab,” “we,” “us,” “our”). It is the name we use for this website, marketing, and talking with customers about the work we do.
We also use TWIZT.SHOP as our registered trade name (sometimes called a DBA, “doing business as”), so you may see that name on invoices, email, signage, or checks—it still means the same company unless we clearly put a different legal name in writing.
Unless we say otherwise in a signed contract, LAB ELECTRONICS LLC is the party you are contracting with for paid work, and obligations, warranties, and liability run to the LLC.
Terms of use
By using twizt.shop and related pages we host here, you agree to the following:
Lawful use only. No scraping or automated access that overloads our infrastructure, no attempts to break security, and no use that violates applicable law.
Demos are fictitious. Sample pages (for example bakery or bar layouts) use placeholder names, prices, and imagery. They are not real businesses unless clearly labeled otherwise.
Feedback tools. Some demo pages may include an embedded feedback widget from a third-party service (for example Marker.io). Submitting feedback through that widget is optional and subject to that provider's terms.
Outbound links. We link to third-party projects and documentation (open-source communities, product sites, and demos). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes. We may update this page and the site content. The “Last updated” date at the bottom reflects the latest revision of this document.
Managed hosting
Optional lane for clients who do not want GitHub, Cloudflare, or DNS homework.
Full customer-facing copy also lives on managed.html.
Plain-language service terms — not legal advice. Contracting party: LAB ELECTRONICS LLC (TWIZT.SHOP). A signed agreement controls if it conflicts.
Service. TWIZT.SHOP provides a simple business website hosted on infrastructure we control, on a domain we register in our accounts (unless a later buyout transfers it). Start: $100 (setup + first month). Ongoing: $20/month.
Payment. Preferred: cash or check (in person or by invoice), recorded by TWIZT.SHOP. Card or automatic monthly renewal may be offered later if both parties agree—it is not required. Failure to pay may result in suspension under clause 9.
Scope. The included site matches the demo-style brochure/service site we presented. Work beyond that (custom design, features, integrations) is quoted separately (build fee and/or $75/hour).
Domain. Standard available .com registration cost is covered in the monthly fee. Premium names or non-.com TLDs require client payment of the incremental cost before we buy them.
Creative control. TWIZT.SHOP chooses layout, structure, and presentation. Client provides accurate business information (name, hours, contact, photos they own or license). Client feedback may be requested; approval of every design detail is not required for continued service.
Content standards. Sites we publish for this service will present the client’s business information only. We will not publish political campaigning, partisan advocacy, or divisive social/cultural commentary in the client’s name or on their managed site. We will not use the site to make the business look unprofessional or to associate the business with controversial social messaging. Business facts, hours, services, and contact info are in scope; activism and culture-war content are out of scope unless the client and TWIZT.SHOP agree in a separate written change order (then billable).
Client-supplied content. Client warrants they have rights to logos/photos/text they provide and that such materials are lawful. We may refuse or remove material that violates these standards or applicable law.
Buyout. Client may buy out the domain at any time for registrar cost (at cost) plus a $50 transfer fee. After payment and transfer, TWIZT.SHOP’s hosting obligation for that domain ends unless a new agreement says otherwise.
Non-payment / end of service. If fees are unpaid (or client declines buyout after ending service), TWIZT.SHOP may suspend or remove the site. The domain and related accounts remain TWIZT.SHOP property. We may park the domain, display that it is for sale, forward it to another site, or otherwise dispose of it.
No ownership until buyout. Paying the start fee or monthly fee does not transfer copyright of TWIZT.SHOP templates/frameworks or registrar ownership until a completed buyout/transfer.
Limitation. Informational terms on the website are not a substitute for a signed contract when one is used; a signed contract controls if it conflicts.
Disclaimers
Informational content only. Text on this site describes how we like to work and what kinds of projects we take on. It is not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, accessibility certification, PCI compliance advice, or a substitute for qualified professionals.
No warranty. This site and any downloadable materials we offer through it are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAB ELECTRONICS LLC and its owners, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content — even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages. For any claim related to this site where liability is not excluded, our aggregate liability will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise.
Projects and hardware. Installations, flashing firmware, network changes, and electrical work carry inherent risk. You are responsible for backups, permits, insurance, and safe operation. Follow manufacturer and upstream project documentation.
No ADA / WCAG “certification” from this page. We describe an accessibility goal below; that is a statement of intent, not a guarantee of compliance with any specific law or standard in every jurisdiction.
Accessibility
We aim to keep this site readable, keyboard-friendly, and usable with common assistive technologies (for example visible focus states, semantic headings, skip links, and descriptive link text where practical).
We do not promise perfect conformance with every version of WCAG, Section 508, ADA, or other regulations in every country. Browsers, assistive tech, and standards evolve; third-party embeds or fonts may introduce limits we do not fully control.
If you hit a barrier on twizt.shop, email help@twizt.shop with the page URL, what you were trying to do, and (if you can) your browser and assistive setup. We will make a good-faith effort to improve what we reasonably can.
Privacy
Contact by email. When you email help@twizt.shop, we receive whatever you put in the message and headers. We use that to respond and operate the business — not to sell your email to data brokers.
Hosting & analytics. This site is delivered over the public internet. Our host and DNS / CDN providers (for example Cloudflare) may process technical metadata such as IP addresses, TLS data, and timestamps for security and delivery. Their privacy policies apply to that processing.
Embedded feedback services. If a demo page includes a feedback widget, the provider may collect data you submit (for example notes, screenshots, page URL, browser/device metadata, and contact details you choose to provide). We use that information only to review demo feedback and improve project proposals.
Google sign-in (if enabled). If a demo feedback flow uses Google OAuth, we receive basic account identity from the provider (typically name, email, and provider user ID) to associate comments with a reviewer. We do not use this data for unrelated marketing.
No marketing cookies required. We do not run aggressive cross-site ad tracking on this static property. If that ever changes, we will update this section.
Copyright & trademarks
Site design, copy we wrote, and original graphics we created are owned by LAB ELECTRONICS LLC or its licensors unless noted. Trademarks of other companies (for example product names we mention) belong to their owners.
Open-source projects we discuss keep their own licenses; we do not claim ownership of upstream code.
